The Brother MFC-685CW is a rather cheap multifunction printer which brings plenty of features in comparatively small space. But the bad thing here is that in approach to jam plenty of features in a small space the print quality and print speed delivered by the printer gets a blow and limits up to being average only. The MFC-685cw is the ideal printer for only those who wants nothing but maximum functionality in their printer and are really short on space. If you also are one of such consumers then the Brother MFC-685CW is just what you have been looking all through your life. One another decent option for you is the Canon Pixma MX700. It won’t give you the advanced fax feature, but you definitely will get decent print quality and fast prints which works in a specialized capacity.

You don’t see momentous advancement in printer technology that often and even if they take place not many of them are worth noticing. It has been three years since Epson released its extensively popular Stylus Photo R1800 and now after three years the company has brought an upgrade to it in the form of Epson Stylus Photo R1900. The Stylus Photo R1900 comes with an all new variant of company’s pigment-based UltraChrome Hi-Gloss ink set named as UltraChrome Hi-Gloss2. The new ink set brings an additional cartridge of orange color rather than the blue used in R1800. It offers a tad better skin tones.
The Stylus Photo R1900 also gets an enhancement in the way the printer can translate the colors in the picture taken from your digital camera to the colors which the printer can reproduce. [...]

The Canon Pixma iP2600 is the photo printer for the budget consumers in market. The Pixma iP2600 is priced at $49.99 in retail stores and replaces Canon’s Pixma iP1800 as an entry-level printer with limited features. The Pixma iP2600 comes with all that’s expected of a baseline product and like any other basic printer the Pixma iP2600 also does not have a memory card slot and a PictBridge port, but the sleek design, bold and crunchy prints and competitive print speeds of the printer makes up for it.
The photos for printing here can be easily cropped, altered and repaired with the help of the built-in Easy-PhotoPrint EX software bundle of Canon Pixma iP2600. On the whole, you’ll find that the Canon Pixma iP2600 is a gainful printer, especially if you are using it for amateur photo printing [...]

The Lexmark x7550 is yet another attempt from the printer manufacturers to deliver as much as possible to their consumers, but sadly this again is an unsuccessful attempt. Priced at $200 the Lexmark x7550 tries to bring a lot of its targeted audiences and in this attempt the printer looses functionality of several individual parts. The print quality offered by Lexmark x7550 is so poor that even many of the entry-level inkjet printers could triumph it, then the fax machine here also is ordinary because of the lower than average paper feed count and if you haven’t placed the documents precisely the copier will destroy them.
The only good thing that we found here was the integrated wireless facility, which eliminates the need of a separate print server, but still it isn’t a revolutionary [...]

The Brother HL-2170W is a monochrome laser printer and feasible alternative modern inkjet printers in the market. The printer might have a low initial cost, but with the fact that the modern photo, tricolor, and high capacity ink cartridge for the printer can cost anything between $20 to $100 per refill, the running cost of the printer could easily be equal to that of owning an inkjet. And to cut this short you can also buy a printer with an inexpensive black and white laser printer.
Although the Brother HL-2170W has got its own set of flaws like the print quality offered by the printer is really crippling, but then the printer makes up for it with its brisk print speed for text documents and the 802.11b/g wireless functionality just for $150. The HL-2170W is a nice choice as a text only [...]

The Dell 1125 is among the very few printers who actually can be said as jack-of-all-trades. Our Dell Multifunction Monochrome Laser Printer 1125 actually is a black-and-white laser printer which at the same time can fax, copy and scan. Just as all the other multifunction mono-laser printers the Dell 1125 also targets the small-business users as its potential consumers. The small business owners who needs versatility and efficiency for their prints and hence they always looks for all-in-one printers which can prints documents at decent pace. And with the Dell 1125 offering 600 x 600 dpi printing, having an internal separate fax machine, a 24-bit color scanner and a 30-page automatic document feeder.
But the poor graphic print quality, pitiful low page-output toner with the printer are really [...]

Hewlett-Packard’s all new line of OfficeJet H470 Mobile Printers is a renewal to its line of portable inkjet printers. With the models starting from $224 to $314, the printers here are clearly not any cheap printers especially with the fact that most of the home inkjet printers cost less than $100.
Even the print quality of HP OfficeJet H470wf is substandard, which however was not a surprise but rather disappointing. We would have loved say a lot of good things about the OfficeJet H470wf, but this certainly isn’t the update that we were waiting for and clearly is an unimpressive update and its better to get its preceding embodiment, the HP DeskJet 460c, that too at a discounted price.

The all new HP OfficeJet H470wf is comparatively compact printer and measuring [...]

Just a few months back we were praising the Canon Pixma MX7600 for its great results in our reviewing tests. The multifunction MX700 performed exceedingly well as a printer, fax machine, copier and scanner and despite its spontaneous performance the printer yielded brilliant quality prints. But most importantly each of the function of that printer was efficient in its way, now this is the most important thing in the world of multifunction printers. The complaints that we had with that computer was that it was a tad slow on text prints, and even lacked some of the highly advanced faxing options and didn’t had an auto-duplexer.
But our complaint didn’t last long on the desks of Canon and soon we got the brand new Canon Pixma MX7600, priced at $400 as the solution to our [...]

The Samsung ML-2525W is the latest entry from Samsung, and this is unlike the other Samsung printers we’ve seen earlier. The Samsung ML-2525W is a simple mono laser printer, and offers only what it shows, yes you read it right the Samsung ML-2525W offers just what it shows; it means the ML-2525W prints only black. Though, it offers the advantage of features such as a single-sheet tray, wireless networking and manual double-sided printing.
The ML-2525W might not have all the modern or high profile features that the printers these days are known to have, but still the Samsung is a nice printer to have. Especially if you are a student, or are looking for a printer for your basic home of office printing then considering ML-2525W really is a smart move. One of the biggest reason why we recommend [...]

Canon Pixma iP100 is an upgrade to previous year’s iP90v and with this Canon continues it’s hereditary of Pixma transportable inkjet printers which was immensely popular in market. But this time the number of ink nozzle has been increased and the maximum resolution has also been doubled to 4800 x 1200 dpi color. As a result of which there are significant improvements in quality and speed both and this makes the portable iP100 a strong contender for even some of the potent full-size printers.
Although priced at $250 the Pixma iP100 doesn’t offer the conventional Hewlett-Packard's bells and whistles like the multimedia card reader and Wi-Fi connectivity. But still we prefer this Canon Pixma iP100 for its rapid print speeds, lower profile, the upgraded cartridge set and the overall versatility [...]

The Kodak ESP 3 basically is an entry level All-In-One inkjet printer, scanner and copier. Priced at $130 the Kodak ESP 3 clearly is one of the cheapest multifunctional printers, but with its poor output quality the printer fails with withstand the competition from the other printers of the same price bracket.
The Kodak ESP 3 initially gives good vides with the Home Center Software from Kodak and the fresh Facial Retouch technology, but when it comes printing the ESP 3 fails and offers prints speeds much slower than the average rate. Even if you don’t have a big budget for your AIO, we won’t recommend this to you as you can easily find a printer with better print than the ESP 3, well within the same budget.

The Samsung ML-2851ND is a really basic mono-laser printer with slightly enhanced features. The modernized features fitted in the printer primarily are there to lure the medium and small business owners in need of printer simply to print light graphics and text documents.
The Samsung's ML-2851ND is priced at $330, which simply is too much asking for a monochrome printer, especially when it is not even wireless, also the Dell 1720 monolaser which has got the same feature set can easily be obtained for $30 less. Still Samsung's ML-2851ND offers high quality prints at brisk pace, and if those are your primary requirements then Samsung ML-2851ND is a nice option any day.
